Sondra Okada

In 2012, Sondra Okada relocated from Shanghai to Bradenton, Florida, bringing with her more than 35 years of design and remodeling expertise. After returning to the U.S. full-time in 2017, she founded Coastal Life Design, a lifestyle-focused Design-Build showroom in West Bradenton. 

Sondra is known for her ability to seamlessly blend her clients’ personal style with functional, timeless design. Her meticulous, client-first approach ensures every project is as unique as the people who live in it.

She studied at the New York School of Interior Design and later earned two additional degrees while working in China, where she was featured in GQ China and Elle magazines. 

When she’s not designing, Sondra can often be found near the water, spending time with her family, or hunting for treasures in local thrift shops.

Cindy grew up in a custom cabinet shop in Arizona, where her love for design started early—what started with crafting dollhouses soon evolved into a lifelong career creating beautiful, functional residential spaces.

As a Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer (CKBD) and active member of the National Kitchen & Bath Association, Cindy is involved in the design community, participating in mentorship programs that introduce today’s youth to tomorrow’s trades.

Cindy brings a hands-on approach to every project, blending aesthetic detail with functional design to create luxurious coastal retreats her clients can enjoy for years to come. When she’s not designing, she embraces the Florida lifestyle—spending time on the golf course or out and about with her family.
